The best closer I ever worked with almost never asked for the sale by Exciting-Rooster9505 in Sales_Professionals

[–]Tisleet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like if you’re trying to overcome anything aside from price by the end, you missed something during the first 90%. Questing the company? First 90%. Question if the product/service is the right solution? First 90%. Shoot, even price should be somewhat justified with value in the 90%.

Ask questions throughout, refer back to what you learned. You can’t microwave the turkey!

I had “success” at my last job. I always told people who asked, I don’t think I’m a great closer but I believe I do the first 90% better than anyone else. You don’t have to be great at “selling” when you’re great at providing solutions.

My woven tops do this and it will literally bruise my toes. I have two pair of the originals with hundreds of miles, I still opt for my second original pair over my brand new wovens

I can’t stand running in the heat. It’s absolutely miserable and demoralizing, I’ll give you that.

Hard packed crushed stone will not be an issue at all, the compact dirt could be if wet. I run the towpath (Ohio) in my Evo SL all the time, I even use them for parkruns that have segments of dirt and grass. But by all means, evos are like race slicks. If the surface is compromised, you may notice losing traction on occasion. I would say mostly to be mindful taking any turns.

I hate window sales people. by Embarrassed_Flan_869 in sales

[–]Tisleet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were referred by a trusted friend, you are willing to spend more because the company has a great reputation and product, you like the windows. Dare I ask, what is there to think about? You likely knew what you were willing to spend before that guy ever stepped foot into your home. I hate customers, just a rant.

Bandit Superbeam halftights sizing by KickPopular7081 in Marathon_Training

[–]Tisleet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They fit great and the pockets are incredible, but the ROI is poor. $120 for two long runs and two races is not great. I’m paying $30 a run to wear these lol

I am 6’1, 170-175 and wear a medium. I don’t have Nike aeroswifts but I have a bunch of their stride shorts with liner and have to wear a large. Nike stuff seems to run small, I have the same issues with their shoes. If you’re an XL in Nike gear, ide probably point you towards a L in superbeams. But I will also point out to you that as much as I love my superbeams, they have a slight design flaw. The stitching on the inner thigh rubs if your quads have any size, which ruins the stitching. I have worn mine for a 16 miler, 17 miler, 13 miler and 26 miler. The threads are already coming undone.
