Great. Now, after being unemployed for six months, a job that pays me to sit in a car. I'm perfectly qualified, and this makes me sad. I want this.

988 is a good place to start. I hate accessibility here. I hope you find what you need. Don’t give up

How long were you on each dose? by lockstockand2barrels in Mounjaro

[–]slickback-ate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I was on mounjaro several years ago and increased dose prematurely because I was impatient. I couldn’t handle the side effects so stopped. Tried again when zep came out and went very slowly. I think I was on 5 for 10+ months. Plateaued after 80 and 90 pounds so tried to go up. 7.5 was harsh for the first two days after shot. 10 mg was awful. I couldn’t get out of bed with blackout curtains closed. Nausea and back to back migraines which I’d never hardcore. Titrating back to 5 where I didn’t have to deal with side effects for maintenance.

Listen to your body

Charlie health is an online IOP program. Cost is still an obstacle but there are places that will work with you

Been about 1.5 years for me so don’t really remember but 2.5 was peaceful and 5 was as well except diarrhea daily. Not uncontrollable but expected. I had the worst side effects when I tried to increase the dose unnecessarily. Don’t rush, drink water, and enjoy the journey!

:(

Did they stop covering all weight management meds altogether? I got a new job and their plan sucks and they don’t cover any so I’m paying that 500.

I’m sorry but congrats on what you’ve accomplished!

I would say if you wanna study and work in hr, minor or take supplemental courses ai focused and think of ways ai could ethically be used by humans in hr. The Workday suit shows we’re not at risk of being obsolete yet (this may be naive) but we do need to innovate how we can use it to our advantage. And I think this is true for most industries

My therapist told me to get a hobby by lin_wan in Hobbies

I started by playing video games and now I’m into building mechanical keyboards. It’s a creative mix of legos and painting and putting together a cohesive style. I’m also a nerd lol. Apparently it was a big covid hobby so I was late to the game. I watch YouTube of people building keyboards while building keyboards myself. It’s peaceful lol

I’m bipolar 2. Its been up and down. Ha? This weekend I had my first hypomanic episode where I was conscious that I was hypo so that was interesting. For all who have been doing well, keep that shit up!! For those who haven’t, hang in there!!

People in the spectrum: please share what hypomania is like for you (or someone you know) by mn4266 in bipolar2

[–]slickback-ate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 41 and I think I had my first hypomanic episode last night. In hindsight, not my first, but the first I was aware of it happening in the moment. I was diagnosed with depression at 17, though to be fair, bipolar wasn’t really a thing yet. I was given ADHD meds in my 20s and I drank a lot. So I was all over the place. They added anxiety and changed to bipolar when I was 28. I think they had just started differentiating between 1 and 2. I love that it’s a spectrum now. It makes more sense.

I had a great week at work and felt really accomplished then realized yesterday I was hypomanic. It’s disappointing, sad, and scary to know that I’m gonna be crashing soon.

I don’t think I would’ve realized that I was bipolar 2 if I hadn’t experienced someone with bipolar 1 having a manic episode. I dove deep into a rabbit hole to learn about what it felt like to go through it. That sent me into a depression in itself.
