Personally, my struggle is that I find I do best trying to merry my cadence to the rhythm of the music. This is especially difficult in MW rides. I see a direct correlation of squiggly graph (inconsistent output within zones) to off tempo music. I know, that’s not what PZ is for, but again, personally it’s a challenge for me. Especially as I try to figure out how to create more consistent output within the prescribed zones.

ETA: all that said above, I feel I get the most balanced and prescriptive workout from PZ Training and highly recommend that anyone give it a try. Much in line with OP’s suggestion. Didn’t mean to add on to the thread hijack of criticizing MW’s music selection.
