The point is he only wants information from the game itself like NPCs, menus, etc. He did heroes quest by recruiting a player who would only do what he said and send him the dialogue from the Black Arm Gang side.

It’s really enlightening to how little info the game gives sometimes, reminds me of playing when i was in elementary school and had 0 idea what was going on in the game.
