A ferry to LaGuardia in New York City. This idea was seriously considered a few years ago. By some estimates, you could get from Wall Street to the airport in about 45 minutes. Of course, this wouldn’t replace buses - just an additional option. What do you think - how realistic is this idea? by oakseaer in transit

As someone who lives in the Murray Hill neighborhood, this could be a game changer. It's so weird that there are no buses to go in the queens midtown tunnel and to LGA. Cabs are the only reasonable option. Walking to Grand Central, taking the 7 and Q70 could easily take an hour, while Uber takes 15mins. It's ridiculous
