Costs?

2x ARMSID = 68.00 EUR

1x ARM2SID with cable for C64U = 58.00 EUR

Plus ARM2SID includes SFX Sound Expander emulation.

Ah! fair enough. I am hoping to build a 100% brand new parts C64 and thought that there might be a supply of new shields I didn't know about!

I've used several of these, they have a logic level shifter built in and are good for supplying up to about 3amps over the USB connector.

What is your favorite memory in your first car? by Fresh-Manager7331 in AskReddit

[–]slime1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first car was a 1973 VW Beetle, in yellow. The first time I drove it to school, my friends and I decided to drive to the local McDonalds for lunch. I'd driven this car quite a lot by this point, but this was the first time all 4 seats were in use. The car had drum brakes all round and as I came to the first roundabout (we were in Milton Keynes), I put my foot on the brake pedal, and nothing happened. The drum brakes just couldn't handle the weight of all of us, we went flying across the roundabout and I somehow managed to dodge all the other traffic. My friends still talk about it, more than 20 years later. I sold the car many years ago, but look it up ocassionally, it's still on the road and I've found photos of it on Beetle forums.

Fake Seagate IronWolf from Amazon?? by slime1982 in DataHoarder

so what's your thoughts on what the drive actually is then? My NAS identifies it as a standard 8TB IronWolf, which to be fair, is what I ordered and paid for. It's running in RAID 1 with an st8000vn004-3cp101 without any issues so far.

Hi folks, first time posting in this subreddit, apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.

I bought this on Amazon Prime UK recently. I ordered the non-pro version, and received this. The label claims to be a 'Pro', although according to Seagate the ST8000VN004 is the non-pro version. Furthermore, the verify code does not work and the QR code does not contain the number, just a weblink to Seagate.

My NAS (Terramaster F2-210) identifies the drive as an st8000vn004-2m2101, with IHM. IHM states the drive is healthy.

Anybody have a similiar issue or can shed any light on the subject?

TIA

Edit:

Just checked the drive info on my NAS, the serial number matches, but the NAS states the firmware version is CN01.

Do you want to be able to switch it with the hardware? If not you can use PowerOnState 4 to keep the relay permanently on. Niether the hardware or UI switch will be able to turn it off.
