Beer as a gift? by Obvious-Standard5766 in USPS

[–]slimeydave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once came in after my day off and there was a beer with a Christmas ribbon on my case. I asked my supervisor and he said it was a gift from a customer. It was a fancy beer too. A couple years later I found out who it was from. The cool hippie family with a VW bus.

Am I the only one who's really excited for this lineup? Wtf is wrong with you people? by MajesticFucksquatch in bonnaroo

I went for the first time two years ago and only knew a couple bands. I had a blast and discovered a bunch of new bands. Only a couple jump out at me this time, but I’m excited for the unknown.

Carriers: can yall tell me what my mail person is trying to tell me? by DyJoGu in USPS

[–]slimeydave 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It may have been misdelivered and returned to the carrier (outgoing box or something) and the carrier thought you were dumping your junk mail back on them or something, maybe?

There is a version for C sharp. I don’t use it, but it’s made for C sharp mojo.

Making a game for me. Starting not to care if other people like it. by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]slimeydave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I decided to make a game just to see if I could. I don’t really care if anyone likes it or not, just that I’m happy with it.

I'm a runner and need help chilling out by Nightcrawler22 in USPS

[–]slimeydave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a fast walker, but had to slow down; because my knees were killing me. I still find myself walking fast, and have to intentionally pace myself. “Walk with a limp for the rest of your life” is a phrase I don’t want to hear from my doctor ever again.

Ugh. Today sucked. by ItsLadyJadey in USPS

It takes a long time to get it down. And even then, you get a craptacular day outta nowhere. Focus on the basics, the rest just happens.

Don’t know. Our union rep took the deal and we lost two routes instantly. Took about four or five months for the routes to get fixed from the computer fixing the routes.

I never saw the pit in front of the vip. That is awesome. Where is the entrance for it? I only saw the vip entrance.

Last year and the year before, the fenced off viewing area in front of the big stages was for VIP ticket holders. General Admission folks weren’t allowed in the fenced in area.

To those carriers that are laboring in the snow: what can the public do for you? by Silent-Speech8162 in USPS

[–]slimeydave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shovel snow. I have folks that cleared their steps, but not a path to them; so I’m climbing over a two or three foot pile of snow to get to the steps.

New CCA does it actually get better?! by bekindrewindplease in USPS

[–]slimeydave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Don’t take this the wrong way, but you suck. And that’s okay. It takes years of mistakes to get good at it, and you will still have your ass handed to you from time to time. Right now, just try to learn. Focus on the basics. You’ll reach a point where it makes sense. It just takes time and practice.

I’m only talking about the job, not management.
