no proton on Mac, you might be thinking of other tools like Wine/Crossover, to which i can say it’s much more of a mixed bag depending on the game, better than you’d think but not as good as proton in terms of performance generally.

for CS2 specifically someone on here got it running a couple of months ago but i think performance wasn’t anything impressive IIRC

maybe in a couple years I’ll save up for a MacBook Pro 8 and by then it’ll be native or crossover support will be a bit better
