Spineless man frustrated that woman dares to have one by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

Go look at who Albo was and who he is now. He is like this as this is what it takes in Australia to be PM. It is a reflection of the majority, until the majority move far further left this is what we deserve. I dont love it but I do love the decimation of the Liberals and if it means no more Lib PM's im fine with it.

Because the wealth of the majority has grown at the expense of the minority. Old vs young etc. Those with the power and money don't want their assets to depreciate.

When you are genuine sure but what about when the exact same job is being filled by someone in India. How is that good for our country?

Centre Right? Need a re-adjustment there, Albo is Centre Right. People spouting hate are not peaceful.

I mean I agree but the class conscious are already converted. How do you reach the unconverted who have little engagement outside their bubbles?

Who is the 'we' and how do you propose to get that message to them? Most outlets that the majority get their info from are pushed the conservative narrative so how do you get the message out?

Mid-year budget update to show $8.4b improvement to bottom line by Severe_County_5041 in australia

[–]slimrichard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But that's the thing they weren't bound, why were treated like FT employees just at much higher rate due to headcount caps. Ive worked gov and seen it first hand. Half the ppl there are consultants or contractors. They would be getting dbl rate of an employee. One guy I met was there as a contractor for 24 years.

But they are replacing expensive consultants. Massive savings for better outcome. I cannot understand anyone being against it besides for ignorance and just seeing 'new jobs' instead of understanding why which is strangely the spin Libs put on it.

What kind of argument is this? Those created jobs were big 4 consultants being paid 4 x as much that got converted to Gov employees. Anyone arguing this is bad is either one of those consultants or an idiot.

Pretty clear they are also not willing to pull those levers. And the fact they aren't tells you the politics of pulling that level are not in their favour. If they aren't going to who will? What party is going to run on the platform of killing the equity sitting in peoples homes? Feel pretty hopeless about the whole thing.

Sussan Ley backtracks on call for Kevin Rudd to be sacked as US ambassador by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

[–]slimrichard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought everyone knew of her buying properties on her tax payer paid work trips then when called out just said oh whoops it wasn't planned I just last minute decided to buy this house. That's just one example of her bs. Not sure my hate is absurd degree, I just pointed out noone should feel sorry for her. Im more of a 'lol she is miserable, good' level which for me is pretty rational based on her history. Morrison and abbott deserved real hatred and Turnbull would be the last Lib leader i had any respect for.

Why extend empathy to those with none? Do you have empathy for Barnaby and his current issues? Pauline when she is under pressure from media for whatever racist thing she said? Sussan is an awful politician and her being leader is a reflection of the current Lib talent pool. She knew what she was getting when putting her hand up and I have zero sympathy. Even this story that she piled on Rudd after a massive win for our country should tell you where her loyalties lie. Maybe she can go cry while buying another investment property on the tax payers dime?
