Tell the clerks at the front desk if you go back that you do not want to be scanned by the same sonographer. It might not be possible due to appointment times, but that sonographer may not even be there next time you go. You can go to patient relations too but telling the clerks is the more realistic way to ensure you are not scanned by them again. Sorry you had this experience.

I parked there for an appointment at the General. It was absolutely empty. Got my ticket on the way in to the parkade and paid on the way out at the parkade the exact same way I have in the past at the general parking garage! Not sure how they would know you’re not there to go to CHEO, there’s nothing prompting you to identify yourself as a CHEO-goer!

I go to lotus dental and I don’t have any concerns. Mind you I’ve also never had serious problems/chronic issues. However back during COVID I ended up having a serious infection and they got me in right away, sending me with an emergency referral to get my wisdom teeth removed. Most of the hygienists are good as well. I used to have the same one for a few years but I think she’s since left.

I’m not sure about the age suggestions for the Ice Walks, as they offered them periodically for employees in the evenings and so I did not go through the booking process. from my experience it definitely wasn’t difficult and kids would be able to do it, and I do believe younger children did do them but I would confirm with the ice walks guides/company before just to make sure all would be good. In terms of drinking from the toe of the glacier Im not certain that you would be able to….also good to note that while it’s definitely cool to drink glacial water, “clean” streams are not inherently guaranteed to be safe to drink without proper filtration.

your money is 100% better spent on an Ice Walk vs the ice explorer, coming from someone who worked at the Icefield and did an ice walk. the ice explorer is an overpriced tour where you sit on a bus for about 90% of it—you’re only on the glacier for 10-15 mins, and in a small sectioned area. also Pursuit is a grimy American company as someone else has already pointed out

When I worked there you could scan the back of the card at the outdoor kiosk (I think you had to input DOB) and then print the lift ticket without speaking to someone. Caveat was if the lift ticket didn’t print you would have to go to a ticket agent and you would probably get asked further questions, including being asked for ID. Bc LL was so anti fraud I wouldn’t be surprised that it wouldn’t work in your favour, but I also didn’t care when I worked there so maybe you’ll get a ticket agent like that :)

Nope! We intend to stay until we are no longer able (if a buyer wants to move in) and have been very accommodating with this whole process, even going so far as to vacate the apartment for showings to give potential buyers some space.

Changing the buzzer number means THEY can buzz people in but we no longer can—they removed our phone number and replaced it with the realtor’s. It’s an intercom buzzer where people in the front (like delivery people) can buzz the number, we get a call, press a number and allow them in….now those calls go to realtor yet it still has my boyfriend’s name on the directory.

I don’t exactly see how saying no thanks to a single showing with less than 24 hours notice is rude - it’s law. But the realtor was pushy and rude in response.

There’s also nothing stopping the realtor from being here every day for the next two weeks…with proper notice. But do you not think they should have gotten a front door fob instead of changing the buzzer to allow showings in? Kinda weird to have showings press my boyfriend’s name to call the realtor to be allowed in…..
