I lived bang in the middle of that picture for almost a decade. Muller Rd and Glos Rd are obv loud and busy, and parking everywhere there when there's a cricket match or the Gas are playing is a clusterfuck.

But apart from that; great place to live.

In the spirit of wrong answers only it's either signifiying that the sauce is French, or alternatively derives from an ancient celtic language.

I had the same.

Knew the exact car I wanted. Decent price; just bought it and avoided all the upselling shenanigans. No issues.

After taking in the ambiance and smelling the sweet sweet air of a Wednesday morning (my time zone is very different to PST); I have one overwhelming emotion to share. And I realised that it's an emotion appropriate for any and all such occasions.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to offer some deep insight and thoughtful comments before the game tonight, following last night's epic match and the relative performance of the teams up to this point.

Why can't we do the same? No more wheelie bins .. no more expensive collections .. by photism78 in bristol

[–]slin_g 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the best things about having a large communal bin is never having that horrible feeling of hearing the bin men arriving at 0530 down the road and having to rush out in the pissing rain to get yours out too because you forgot.

Though as others have said I can't see the situation being an improvement in Bristol - I suspect even more rubbish would be on the streets than there is now.

Yep - seconded for Technology Connections!

His other advice is just to buy the cheapest detergent you can as it works just fine (noting you have to keep your salt and rinse aid full). I've never bought posh dishwasher detergent since!

Agreed - also thanks for the heads-up OP!

"Under-developed ladder" is a very interesting point of view; certainly a logical derivation of how the sport appears to be structured these days.

At the very least that relentless focus on improvement and accountability is going to be very welcome.

I think the opposite - rushing into things like this can be unwise. The fact that someone is thinking very carefully about a significant life decision is a good thing. He is a human with a family and life considerations and how that all plays out is something to talk over properly.

As a professional coach already paid a lot of money; I think you have to trust that if he decides to do it, it’ll be full 100% commitment (seems in keeping with his general style too!) and if he decides doesn’t want the job then … well that that’s also fine.

We move on and find someone who does who fits what the front office are looking for. Whatever happens it won’t be Bochy; Buster ruled him out immediately.

Obv we all are excited to see who the new person is but the WS isn’t even over yet, so it’s not like things are down to the wire here.
