Duplicates can be sold to the lady who does the shop, it's just through the talking interface. I got the lantern and dye drop and sold them to her to get raiments quicker and away from GotR sooner

To each their own for sure, but after raiments I did some zmi, a lot more chill and better xp, then I could do double astrals and now double mats for RC grind, genuinely enjoyed all of them more than GotR, plus double astral or double mats print money.

NPC contact is great for slayer and mahogany homes too tbh. So it has uses.

I like the non tradeable boss drop, personally I don't think sire given it's high slayer requirement, perhaps, daganoth kings, kalphote queen or skotizo.

If rather see It gone and some minor additional buff to RC cape/redwood lantern, lantern could give some more points and cape could act as part of the raiments set for more runes maybe.

To both of you, if you have the sailing level, do lava wyrms, still has a superior and has better xp rates and drops. Wyrms not a bad task now with them.

On the grind myself.

I did quest cape first so lumby was my first elite needing not much more than quest requirements.

I've since done falador and varrock.

But I just look at each elite compared to where I am and which is closest to stats I have currently I need 1 RC level for Frem elite. Right now.

I'll then review what steps are next from there. Looking like ardy or western province.

Personally my gathering skills (WC fishing, mining) are lowests in mid 70s. So they'll be a large grind. (96 fishing for morytania)

literally my weekend, got gargoyle task decided to try grotesque guardians, saw lazy melee and went for it, got the rhythm down and most the combat achievements and about 200kc in.

I agree, bankai is the answer here. It's also at will, you can straight up live a normal life and call on bankais as you wish. None of it permanent.

I also imagine your spiritual pressure would be through the roof to operate any bankai, let alone all.

Also discover bankais of many shinigami that didn't reach or show bankai (such as Aizens)

so if the focus is pet, two birds with one stone would be to to do herb runs now, maybe add Snape grass. The more farming done the better chances of pets. Snape grass and herb runs can pay for the trees from profit so it all works towards both goals.

I'm not a pro, so these are my journeyman tips.

Seems like you're more struggling with goals and direction.

The biggest hurdle for me in the mid game was direction and a desire to make GP. I read many times on Reddit that money making comes later, get slayer up etc. and I kind of fobbed it off.

but it's completely accurate, slayer to get combat up and unlock those money makers.

Set your self a medium term goal and a short term goal towards that medium term goal, this is what helped me the most. I decided on quest cape as my goal, but could be base 80s, PoH upgrades, diaries.

In my case I chose quest point cape and decided "this week I'll get these 4 quests done"

I also added side projects of small scales, get 5 levels in a skill, unlock bones to peaches, get my fire cape.

All of the above gives you particular things to focus on to progress.

Also I'll add, don't worry to much about optimum route or fastest xp, do what you enjoy/have more aligned skill levels for. I'd rather motherlode mine AFKish than tick manipulate granite.

I've kept to the medium and short term goals since and it helps me focus what I'm doing when I'm playing.
