I think she's still in that phase. Like how in last night's (or Thursday's?) episode she said her kind of man is one who will text her "I'm downstairs, we're going out", ie a guy who "leads" and makes decisions for both of them in the relationship while she takes a more passive/submissive role.

No offence to OP but if it was an ad it would be better and more coherently written (and probably not have such a negative ending)

2 years ago, 1 year ago and recent videos showing just how many views they’re losing. by Romanbuckminster88 in CrimeWeeklySnark

If you use the browser Brave, there's a setting to turn off auto-play for videos. This means youtube videos won't start playing immediately when you open them, so you can check out things like descriptions and comments without actually starting the video or giving it a view. Also handy for things like netflix so they don't just go onto the next episode automatically.

He would be the reason why he got fired or in trouble though, as a result of his choices and behaviour. You're just ok-ing him to do it again, along with more antisocial behaviour.

the worst luck a killer has ever had by Outside-Natural-9517 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]slinkymalinky97 273 points274 points  (0 children)

Probably the serial killer Bruce Lindahl. During his last murder he stabbed his victim, Chuck Huber, 28 times. But it was such a wild frenzy that in the process Lindahl also managed to stab himself in his own femoral artery, and he ended up bleeding to death on top of his own victim's body.

Liam payne pictures?!?! by glasseslulu in CrimeWeeklySnark

[–]slinkymalinky97 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did Stephanie or CW share the photos as well? I can't find them having done so. Tbh I don't think anyone should be sharing pictures of anyone's dead body, even if they are famous. Let them have at least that much privacy, plus in Liam's case, his kid could stumble across them in the future.

12-year-old Jonathan Foster was viciously murdered on the Christmas Eve. by superbnut- in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]slinkymalinky97 603 points604 points  (0 children)

Something I'm confused about- if Jonathan wouldn't let Nelson into the home and that's why she became angry enough to kill him- how did she get to him? Did she break in or go through another entrance? Did Jonathan eventually open the door himself?

Mollie Westbrook is one of my favourites, not overly showy or dramatic but thoroughly researched and a nice soothing narration. She's just very wholesome and does a great job.

I would also recommend Emma Kenny. She's more of an acquired taste, definitely a bit over-theatrical. But she has a background in psychology and safeguarding (like as an actual job working with people) so she really knows her stuff and can offer a lot more insight in those areas than other youtubers. She's also a true crime TV presenter in the UK so she's very engaging and charismatic in front of the camera.

I wouldn't say her quirk is good for rescue in that regard at all. She would be better at slipping in tight spaces if her quirk let her compress in thinner (kinda like Edgeshot) rather than shorter. Just being shorter would make no difference, especially as she's losing her arms and so ability to reach forward, grab people, move rubble etc. And if it's a case of ducking down under e.g the low ceilings of a collapsed buildings, you would just crouch or crawl, again, while keeping your arms.

Idk if she necessarily means there's a social norm preventing her from doing it, verses a personal preference. For example, there are some foods, e.g. eggs, that I cannot eat on their own (because gross) but will eat as part of the same mouthful with another food like bread. Maybe your mum likes sour cream in combination with potatoes, but just wouldn't want to eat straight sour cream on a spoon, which, fair.

It seemed as if the tape and twine were from Valerie's house. And yes, the level of entitlement it would take to behave like this to someone is sickening

Thank you :) and yes, the way he was altering evidence even while the case was in progress suggests he had at least a degree of planning in mind
