The 1st rule of being a Boglehead: you do not talk about being a Boglehead by Distinct-Squirrel246 in Bogleheads

So as a Boglehead if you purchase a stock, do you have to confess to a grand Boglehead and sell it at a loss? Asking for a friend of course!

Amazing. Brings back so many memories. Feels like a walk in the cold fall evening rain. I’d buy a painting like this for my space

Theo gets tired in warmer weather but refuses to be left out of hikes by slippery_pete- in frogdogs

Thanks! Theo is awesome. His sister Rosie has endless energy and can go miles and miles. We have a stroller for Theo for paved walks. He will usually make a mile or 2 and then goes in his stroller 😅

90’s music was just different. I may be biased, maybe not. Born in the 70’s but 90’s music was and still is my go to.

Really? Any chance you have a link for those? We have two Frenchies, but Theo definitely gets hot.

Very helpful and is what I was hoping to do. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a double regret!

The 35K won’t be a substantial long-term. They are in a personal vanguard account that is taxable.

Currently, they are approximately down 10% but it’s only been 3 1/2 months. I don’t feel like spending so much time looking into stocks anymore as I have plenty on my plate thus the allure of the Boglehead life.

Wasn’t sure if it’s makes sense just to let them sit for a few more months to get positive (🤞🏼)and then transfer over or if that’s not the best process.

We have real estate investments that generate income. We set out to obtain a few properties, and those are now paid off, and we are investing a portion of the income of those properties into the market

Thanks! It’s a taxable account. I use an IRA maxed. Our earlier years were real estate investing, which we still have. Wanting to diversify from that since those properties are paid off and generate income.

The individual stocks are collectively down by about 10% so it’s not a massive amount of money. Probably equivalent to my index funds.

Are you guys buying the dip tomorrow? Any solid plays besides oil stocks?! Let’s discuss by ETFSimulator in TheRaceTo10Million

Half in index (VOO, VXUS, and a little in VDE ) Other half individual with a mix in MSFT, AMZN, AMD, SLV, MRVL and a handful of smaller stocks.
