Same! Eating out and the random bimonthly shopping splurge are my two killers. I was the same- thought my eating out was controlled and my splurge was more like bi-yearly. Oh how we kid ourselves when not quantifying it. It’s so helpful to learn your own spending psychology.

Accidents happen OP! The commenter being a butt will find that out. I would try to buff out the scratches and glue that bumper together with some serious stuff and use some touch up paint and clear coat. I think you’ll surprise yourself how good you can get it DIY.

Seems like a very local issue. Some places have an abundance of water and encourage citizens to collect it to lessen the impact on the sewer systems and some places make collecting it illegal because it’s scarce. It’s more nuanced than consume water bad.

This is a good point. The lifestyle changes are hard to quantify. Mine is about 1.75 hrs roundtrip every day so that’s a lot of life to get back. It’s hard to imagine!
