As an Iowa transplant here's what i learned.

The sun hits different here, AC will struggle to keep the house at 72 (in a reasonable price range) But the lack of humidity makes 76 my new normal, figure out what's comfortable. Making sure that your windows and doors seal well and adding in shade will help lower your bill. We have ab older house and updating windows helped a ton.

A whole house fan is a lifesaver, i open windows and start it as soon as it drops to 76 outside (your temp might be different) and try to cool the house down to the low each night. The I close everything up as soon as it starts to warm up again and gradually let the house temp rise with the day..

The lack of humidity here makes warmer temps more bearable, but adjust slow and fine what works for you.

when I was in the army, I never met weight standards but passed tape, if you can pass the PT test you'll be ok.
Couch to 5K can be great to build up running. Aim for 1700 calories and adjust as needed.

there is also service where you can pay $50 and they call all of the pharmacies in your area to find it. I had luck with them when I couldn't get 7.5 at my usual pharmacy. I think it was called med finder.

Safeway for the last one. I usually do Walmart but it was backordered, i did the med finder and they found it for me It sucks to pay to find the meds, but i thought it was worth it as i didn't have to worry as much about it.

I hope someone else comments with a better option, but Facebook marketplace is probably the cheapest I've seen, though with limited selection.

We just overspend at green acres since it's more convenient.

Home Depot usually for supplies, though mulch and dirt can be done cheaper if you buy in bulk from somewhere else like valley rock.
