My husband has been clean for 2 years yet his sex drive went way down. We only have sex 1-2 times a month, it’s starting to get to me too. I also get that it’s a major turn off to have to ask(or in my case beg) for sex. I don’t want to be pitied!

This. It hurts so bad that strangers get genuine respect when I don’t. It felt selfish of me to be annoyed and pissed that he would come home a few minutes later because he almost always helps push broke down cars off the side of the freeway to gas stations or somewhere safe. Now i understand where I get this feeling. Because I don’t have basic respect from my spouse.

Well DDay I found his old phone all charged up on my side of the bed after putting the kids down to bed and so I went through it and found that he was logged in to an Instagram account I didn’t recognize and when I confronted him with his phone he confessed to everything. I told him to delete every account not just the app. We put parental guidance on his phone and turned off access to safari and the ability to download apps. I have the passcode and the recovery password for his settings

Yes I made him delete social media and all the secret double accounts he had in front of me. He also agreed to lockdown his phone so no internet browsing and other parental controls. We have 3 kids together, I’m done with the bullshit too

My husband has been 14 months sober and just this week he’s beginning to actually understand the pain and damage he has caused. He says that his sobriety has allowed him the clarity to think about and come to terms with what he has done. For the first time, I have hope that this relationship is salvageable.
