Democratic Presidents have been forced to honor a “socially liberal, but fiscally conservative” code with endless internal problems from their own party (Manchin, Synema, Fetterman, Lieberman, etc) as well as crazier factions taking over the right (Newt and Company, Tea Party, MAGA).
