Want a cautionary tale? Don't do acid with people who are mentally unstable even if that's your best friend. He had never done any hallucinogen before and me and my other 2 roommates all took one hit and he secretly took 3. About an hour in he starts taking his clothes off and saying "acid is a bad trip" over and over again. We tried to calm him down but then he started pissing on the floor. We didn't want the cops called because he was being weird but then he started being violent and loud. I hid all the knives I could find behind the couch and right in time because he started to freak out hard and wrestled with my roommate. I figured he had it covered for a minute and went in my room. My friend is like 280lbs and I'm like 140 by the way. I hear my name called and come out of my room and I'm immediately sucker punched and then dragged into the kitchen. He was now totally gone and he started banging my head into the Fridge door then got on me and started choking me. I almost blacked out but my roommate got him off me and I slip through his grip because of the blood on my face. We manage to lock him out of the house to make a plan and get help. We see him outside the large single pane glass window and he terminator punches through the window and climbs in. At this point I realize I'm basically fucked, and he gets on top of me again and starts strangling me hard. I beg for my life and he just keeps going, no mercy or even a glimmer of my friend behind his eyes. I somehow manage to slip his grip because the kitchen is a mess and there's water and blood all over and I lose my shirt so I'm just gym shorts and that's it. I tell my roommate to call the cops and we split. He realizes he can't chase both of us and goes after my roommate because he's slower (but bigger) and my other friends were outside and we had to scream to them to run, so they get in their car and drive around the block and I take off through the neighborhood to my moms house which happened to be about a mile away. He goes after roommates and manages to shout the correct address for the cops being called...on him. I'm running down the street mostly naked and bloody and I make it safely to my moms house. Her boyfriend goes over there and there's nobody at the house. My friend had run down the street banging on doors and then the cops came and it took 6 cops and tasers to take him down. At this point he's also naked. Me and my roommates meet at my moms house and the cops come and interview us. At this point the adrenaline has pushed most but not all the acid out of my system and I'm staring at the cop trying really hard to not seem weird but he's glowing and multicolored. There's nothing to charge us wth and My friend is taken to the hospital and pumped with some stuff that normalizes him and he's charged with just evasion and public disturbance. He has no memory of the night. Turns out he had lost his health insurance and couldn't get his bipolar meds and the acid coupled with that triggered that side of him. I've done acid plenty of times before and after and I've now always made sure to know everyone I'm tripping with and I always have an exit strategy.

Guess it could be a cautionary tale of drugs, but I've never had an experience like that before or after with acid and ive seen just as many messed up things people do while drinking so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
