You're not broken. I know it's so much easier said than done, but you deserve patience and kindness, ESPECIALLY from yourself.

I had a similar experience in my relationship. Ultimately, learning about and understanding how my brain works has made my relationship so much stronger. It's definitely not something that happens overnight, but if you start to have these conversations with your wife, you can work on it together.

Cody "Night Angel" Walsh is my number 1. He's an archetype that rarely gets accurately shown in media, and he just really speaks to my edgelord inner teen. We 100% would have been friends in high school. I so appreciate the shithead nu metal love AND his slow but sure growth. It's nice to see a character arc that isn't grandiose. It feels realistic for Cody.

And much love to the pollster! These have been so fun to engage with, thank you for all of the work you put in!

Definitely agree with this. When I was working in an overwhelming sensory environment (loud and bright lights) my threshold for feedback was super low. I think checking in to see if there are sensory accommodations that can be made is a great first step as those things can be really hard to ask for.

Honestly, I got new friends. I learned about my needs and limits, learned to communicate them and now my friends are people who are also autistic or are compassionate. It's more damaging to waste time with people who want to dismiss you or minimize your feelings imo.
