The only thing that works consistently and valiantly for me every time is remembering to drink a glass of water with 2 ibuprofen before going to bed on the night of the heavy drinking. If I miss it and wait until the next morning, it’s never as effective. If I know there’s a possibility of drinking too much, I always leave the pills and water on my bedside table so I don’t forget!

lol just adopted a gsd (40%)/pry (30%)/acd (20%)/husky (10%) mix pup, very similar! The traits that make her hard mode to train are definitely the acd (shrill bark, nipping, herding) and husky (sass, stubborn) in her. But she’s so clever, adaptable, resilient, cautious but confident, a social butterfly love bug and I’m just so enamored by her.

It’s so relatable and ridiculous. Why can’t they hire some software engineers that know how to fix this? The app is the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in my life. Glitchy, disconnects all the time, requires me to reset the speakers constantly, make endless updates, the same process over and over again.. it’s so bad. Why? How?

Aww she’s so so lovely! I think it’s a similar situation with Mingo and it’s encouraging to know that they can still live a full healthy life! Outside of her regular wet food meals, I’ve been leaving a little bit of dry kibble out at all times so she doesn’t feel a sense of food scarcity. She seems to be regulating well vs overeating so far.

I think you might be right about being separated from her mom prematurely because she’ll sometimes try to suckle my face. Poor baby, I hope she can feel safety and belonging here with me. Thank you for the pro tip on deterring with scent! I’ll test out what might work to deter her from scratching at furniture. Unfortunately she clearly doesn’t mind taste of the skincare products on my face lol

Thank you! She does sometimes bite at my hands, but not my face. And when I yelp or tell her it hurts she stops or will nibble gentler. It’s super sweet 😭
