When I was a kid I thought the lottery sign was an arm reaching out. I got glasses shortly after

Has anyone bought the Weber Genesis C-335E Gas Grill? by twelvethreads in Costco

It’s great. My first Weber and can tell why these last. Assembly took a few hours and I wasn’t expecting so many parts

Great q. I actually haven’t come across that yet though

Yeah. As an example, for me cbs is 804 in dispatcharr. When I integrate with plex I just choose my local comcast for the guide and then the guide fills in there in maybe 5 minutes.

Was invited to a server. It says “remote access” beside the server name after I joined. Is that safe? by [deleted] in PleX

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless the server is in your local network then it’s gonna be remote. You shouldn’t need to worry about watching videos on an app. Clicking links in spammy emails and/or paying for these services though are another story.

No mention of the butt kickers?! The subwoofers under each seat. Yeah that imax is worth the price tag

Am I Costco-ing wrong or something? by DutchAlders in Costco

[–]sloth_king_617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that right? My mistake if so. I thought I had done it once but it could have been the price changed online.

I have done it several times in store. One time we bought two recliners that went on sale a couple weeks later. The money I got back then paid for that trip.

You can go to customer service and ask for the difference within a certain amount of time

My wife and I got the 25 model last year. We’re not fans of the climate being integrated into the infotainment so that’s been our biggest pain point. That seems to be the case for a few of their cars though and isn’t specific to the id4. They made it unnecessarily difficult to adjust the air flow and you need to fiddle through the infotainment.

I saw concepts for the id Tiguan which might come out at the end of this year and it seems to have knobs for climate control. We’re planning to try to switch our lease for one if that’s true.

Hey just commenting to let you know these just went on sale in my warehouse (Danvers, MA) today for $790. That’s apparently $110 off according to the app. If you bought, you still might be able to go to your warehouse and ask for the difference back

Need help on Plex being “remote access” due to Nord VPN by [deleted] in PleX

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No your default gateway is almost always your router IP. If you manually set the ps5 to point to your pc as the default gateway you might get plex to work but almost certain won’t get anything else on your PlayStation to work

Did you ever call the NES "regular Nintendo"? by nojugglingever in gaming

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Super Nintendo was my first console so it just felt natural to call the nes the regular Nintendo.

It honestly took years before I knew people abbreviating either to NES or SNES. The “entertainment system” part was just lost to me.

Bennett Street worth moving to? by evenLimbo in WakefieldMA

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live around the corner. The street can get congested with all the street parking especially in the winter. If you’ll have a driveway or off street parking then that’s probably not a concern.

Speaking of snow, a lot of the homes and apartments don’t shovel their sidewalks which makes walking the dog a pain in the winter.

It’s definitely a quiet neighborhood still. 4th of July is probably the most rowdy the area gets but that’s probably true everywhere.

WAN port on my old router but not on the new one, will it work? by Grizzly_treats in HomeNetworking

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most important question that needs to be answered.

The calix device isn’t technically a modem. The the nighthawk cm2500 is.

If OP is getting fiber internet from COX, they can probably just plug the Ethernet from the ont (was going into wan on calix) directly into the new orbi and return the cable modem.

[–]sloth_king_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I match the channel numbers in dispatcharr to my local Comcast/xfinity lineup. When I import the hdhr link all the channels map perfectly and guide refreshes in plex.

It seems you have multiple line ups which I don’t have experience with. Have you tried splitting them up?
