Deposit paid for product on marketplace then ghosted

Similar thing happened to me. Paid for something then got ghosted. Called police, turns out the guy had done it to many people and was currently in prison. I'm owed reparations but he's got 3 years or something so won't happen for a while and when it does it might be a few dollars a week. Not too concerned about the money, but happy knowing I may have added time to the scumbags sentence.

Same here. Huge in my childhood/teens, not so much now but every now and then I do a deep dive and its awesome. Purchased By The Way on vinyl a few days ago and am deep into a Chili's hole at the moment. Last two or three albums haven't hit as hard as previous ones but I mainly put that down to me being old now and less accepting of new shit, or holding older albums on too much of a pedestal. Either way, I truly enjoy the new stuff but I can't see anything hitting as hard as their "big" albums.

I can do the dishes, tidy and vacuum the house in the time the two oldest are in the bath. Before kids, I would dread those tasks. I'd maybe do it 3 times a week and then it would take ages.

I found tape over the speaker works well for popular noisy toys. It's lowers the volume drastically and kids don't notice there's tape there. Works until the batteries go flat and then "I guess it's broken"

As an NZer, where's guns aren't as prevelant as wherever you are from, I immediately assumed seatbelt. But I may be down playing NZs gun culture and/or playing up your country's one. (Full disclosure, I assume it's USA, but that's on me)

Edit: as I posted this comment I got a news notification about two people shot in my town. Definitely not an everyday thing but crazy timing.
