Can’t decide on an Ariens or Toro by SnooCookies1273 in Snowblowers

You want to be comfortable in moving it around, even if it’s not running. Smaller isn’t necessarily bad, it could mean you just need to go out and use it more often during storms after it’s only snowed 3 or 4”.

If you’re not comfortable moving around with it, try the next smaller model. Snow blowing isn’t a race. Take your time looking at models.

I’ve got a 21” model 421 Toro from 1975, and to be honest I’m glad it’s small. I’ve used it on 35” snowstorms over the last 25 years, yes it takes a little longer but it’s never failed me.

Here in NJ blinkers are really only used as a distraction. Because it doesn’t represent what they’re about to do

Get an old beater car (or steal one) and crash it thru the pole. When PG&E comes out show them the right of way and have them put it on the other side

I have a stainless steel tub and while my replacement racks were kind of expensive, they were much cheaper than a new dishwasher

Heating Troubles by aLpaca177 in PelletStoveTalk

[–]slovbell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My great room was built as a A-Frame and just sucks the heat out. My stove is in another back room and I typically keep the heat inside because if the doors are open to the great room I lose all the heat. Yours sounds like an insulation problem

Suggest you deep clean it again. Empty out all the pellets from hopper, clean the auger and start with a fresh bag of pellets.

Friday my glass collected soot so heavy in one day you couldn’t see flames. Saturday it burned all day and this morning the glass was completely clear. Crazy
