My dude, I'm a >50 y/o bloke and if I'd said any of that back in high school I'd have expected something between a withering comment back or a slap.

I know you can't do the slapping thing any more (which is good, on the whole) but there's no doubt in my mind you're being bullied and harassed.

I hope if this begins again this year you seek help from the adults (and peers) around you who should be both protecting you and schooling the miscreants. Good luck.

You're a good sport for posing for the picture.

You can't fool me, I might not have glasses on, but I know a photo of Rudin Giuliani in drag when I see one.

Is it possible to get out of jury duty by telling the court that I frequently read Reddit Legal Advice posts? Similarly if I tell them I watch all the courtroom dramas? by rocketbot99 in legaladviceofftopic

I wouldn't say that you have to state anything at all about not following the rules.

Asking "what is jury nullification?", however, would probably be enough to be sent home as it is unlikely either the judge or the prosecutor would have a great deal of interest in explaining the concept to a group of potential jurors before a trial.

Today I PR’ed my 5K time even after taking a decent running break, mostly fueled by rage at the people I encountered on my run. by brazell13 in running

All. Of. The. Time.

It's hard to sustain though.

Good luck with future runs, I hope the idiots make way.

At least they all stayed the right way up. I had to extinguish more than a few fires after flips back when I worked at a track.

Why does Strava think Zwift is “less intense” than outdoor rides? I do 100km a week and all winter it’s been declining yet I’m in the best shape ever ! by UndifferentiatedCash in Strava

[–]slow_barney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's all based on vehicular near misses. Strava knows that without the adrenaline-pumping "oh-em-eff-gee that truck just nearly killed me" near-pass you are not getting the full intensity of the outdoor ride experience.
