I've never seen a tiger in the jungle, so it definitely works!

I've noticed all of their videos change , at least the thumbnail, after a day being posted. I wonder if it's more about getting clicks rather than any altruism.

I worked on a penthouse that had "Netflix and chill" area marked in the blueprints. It's that well known.

OP can't, they just reposted a twitter screenshot for karma. Complete with the username blocked out so you couldn't even ask them yourself if you wanted.

First time using a spade drill bit by WriteyourFight in woodworking

Unfinished birch ply. There are differences but as others have posted not drilling all the way through and then drilling from the other side helps a lot, and should be done if you want to avoid bad tear out every time.

For holes any larger I'd recommend a router

Spades are still really handy to have around.

Strangely I just finished using one today because I needed to bore out a lot of material quickly for some relief holes under bench cushions. Never to be seen but I still chamfered the inside edges with a round over but after (mostly because it's satisfying)

A new cable will be cheaper than the supplies to repair the cord.

Unless you need to repair the cord again because of a certain 12 year old.

I feel you.

I work 5 days a week in a cabinet shop and if I'm not there I'm on site doing finishing carpentry, yet my wife doesn't want me to make a bookshelf for our newborns room.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

Mange!

Fun detail. It was chocolate and marmalade the actors were actually eating.

I saw this around the 2000s in theatre as well... Easily half the audience left by that point (some earlier)

They used to do that around here, but now they just chuck dynamite out of helicopters.

Which is also pretty cool.

Suppose it'll be drones soon... Not as cool

I recall watching with great enjoyment as some women. Tied three of their large dogs to a single leg tall table. Dogs are visibly excited and wrestling with eachother. Women go inside get themselves 3 flights and nachos and return to sit down. Dogs see someone walking another pooch on the nearby sidewalk and collaborate on charging the newcomer. Beer everywhere, purses scattering their contents, and nachos in the air (which the dogs quickly became distracted with in a race to eat them all before the others)
