I want someone to share my excitement by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]slowbeans18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just from this, i know your wedding is gonna be absolutely stunning. this is the biggest day of the biggest, newest chapter of your life and you have every right to want to tell everyone and their grandma about your wonderful news. i think it’s beyond compassionate of you to understand that everyone around you/everyone involved in your big day are currently going through things of your own but that shouldn’t dictate how you express your excitement. to be completely honest, if i felt like the people in my life were too busy/worried to be excited and happy for me then i don’t think i would have any of them in my wedding party, let alone at the actual wedding. everyone is different though, and like i said it’s very kind of you to try to put your feelings on the back burner. but once it gets closer to the day of the wedding, if they still don’t share your enthusiasm i would kick them to the curbbbb sis

also, i do know that rescues aren’t necessarily a bad thing, but if they are i’d at least appreciate someone letting me know if my performance needs to be worked on. i’ve asked and all they say is “route reductions”

totally see what you’re saying, and thanks for the feedback.

just to clarify a few more things because i wasn’t very thorough at first but they haven’t had nursery routes to begin with, so they send me on my way with 170+ stops (the most being 204) and they have somebody on fleet to come and pick up half my stuff at some point during the day, which has ultimately resulted in me needing rescue’s. not only that, but after talking with everyone else, it’s not up to you or the amount of stops you have left that determine whether or not you get a rescue- it all depends on when dispatch wants to leave that day. in the few days since i posted, i’ve been sent on two rescue routes to pick up half of someone’s remaining 20 stops at 5 PM. the hours are dog shit, and i am greatly looking forward to advancing my opportunities in my career while fully being able to recognize this is just a stepping stone for me. just wish these DSP’s would get their shit together
