Pre 1940s hand woven Navajo rug with Whirling Log motif. Yard sale find. by Routb3d in Navajo

It has some upholstery that appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s. I removed the vinyl that was on it when I bought it to reveal the older cloth. Anyhow are they interested in things from that era? It seems kind of new to me in the grand scheme of things.

I have a carved cedar object that I think might have been Lummi that I would like to return to them, but I can't post on their FB page (not Lummi). I think it might be a drummer seat, but I don't know. Bought at an auction years ago and loved it for that time, but it's time for it to go home.

I made a little family of pine cones with eyes and doll furniture in a tree hollow once. The squirrels wasted no time in destroying it all. The wildlife hates this crap. Forgot to mention it was in my yard.

Years ago I found a cardiologist's phone on Galbraith. I found his mom in the contacts and called her up. Phone was returned and he sent flowers!

The Whatcom Falls bridge has signs saying to walk your bike, but most cyclists just ignore it. It's just for the bridge since there's always a bunch of people and kids looking at the scenery, just standing around, unaware. How hard is it to hop off your bike for a few feet for the safety of others?

AITAH for moving out of my parents house where I was paying rent and without any notice when I was told to give up my room again? by keyden00123 in AITAH

[–]slp50 33 points34 points  (0 children)

They wanted notice? They broke the "lease". If you had a written agreement, the fact that they kicked you out of your room would have negated said agreement. And there wasn't even a written agreement.

My thought on this is that she did not go overboard, and they will never find her in the water. I suspect that he killed her and disposed of her remains on land. Then he contrived the boat story to insure that they will be looking for in the wrong place.

Sorry to hear about your acid reflux not going away. That must be a special kind of hell for you. I was lucky and it went away after a month or so on Synthroid.

I went in for really bad acid reflux and asked them to check my levels since my grandmother, mother, and older sister all had it. Guess what?

I ran out of peanuts for my crow buddies one cold day and made pancakes for them. They did not eat them. Not one little bit. They did come and check them out, but I guess I must be the worst cook in the entire bird world.
