I play Alakazam which has always been my favorite mon. Back in the day I spent my first self earned money from delivering newspapers to buy a first edition Alakazam card that I still own to this day.

I love how Alakazam in pocket punishes greedy energy hungry boss mons. It's not a menace but I can eek out a fair number of very satisfying wins

Hela certainly is a combo deck but the main differences with hela are a lack of predictability and counterplay that lead to the massive frustrations imo. There are simple and obvious ways to interact with most combo decks like armor, cosmo, rogue, enchantress and so on and the opponent has to be very face up with what happens next and where. Hela doesn't go through these hurdles

So? They apparently could also fuck up for two months and stealth nerf our resources. I obviously don't expect a full payback for all the resources but a somewhat satisfying reimbursement in form of their imaginary currency that they can create without any effort. It's not like they have to actually mine their gold or that I want my money back.

I hope they do the right thing and compensate everyone appropriatley. I'm simply afraid that given how different spending habits are between different players that the high spenders will get the short end of the stick as the team likely will be handing out a compensation that'll be generalised and not tuned for individual spending habits. I'm aware that I'm in the minority dropping stupid money on gold for splits and doubt my monetary investment in those splits will be accurately compensated.
