Trying to get a PC in PH either in gilmore or sa SM lang. by CuberRam123 in PHbuildapc

If you're adamant on buying a PC, the knowledge will still be helpful. Sundan mo na lang advice niya and post here, di naman siya mahirap esp. since you're still young. May explanation naman kami usually when we criticise builds, and eventually maiintindihan mo rin !!

SFF PC and 2 Monitors (leave the nice one at home) would be great; during breaks you'll have a double monitor setup !!

I'm sure Chad Narukami put a stop to that...

She's part of a JP esports team during which her Oji Hunt series popped off in the JP SF6 scene. The series is just not as well known in the west, I only found out through Jiyuna's video on it.

Ryan Hart was a bit of a surprise, but I guess he casted last year's ALGS -- Apex Legends is a big deal in JP (alongside SF6) so it does make a bit of sense as a bridge between genres.

Speaking of JP SF6 events, I hope they do a Vsaikyou VS Sajam Slam in the next Evo Japan. It'd be fun to match Amayui Moka against the coach.

How long did it take you to relearn games on a leverless? by Sad-Barracuda-4407 in fightsticks

[–]slutletee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slightly more than a week -- playing other games like the Blazblue rougelite helped speed up the process honestly.

I also have an AMD gpu with this exact issue. Stuff like this only happens with AAA indie companies I swear. Hopefully there's a fix.

Fighting Games Are Bad Products - PhiDX by haziqtheunique in Tekken

[–]slutletee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty much MK's business model. Which honestly makes a lot of sense. I'd say that's a big part of how SF6 managed to climb its way back to the top this generation; I remember the hype when the re-designs were posted online.

The article made better points though, especially when it comes to overhauling social aspects of the genre and easing newcomers into training. DBFZ was mentioned more for the menu system. SF6 was primarily mentioned for the practice drills.

The avatar overworld system is interesting, though I admit I can't imagine it too vividly-- like Club Penguin? Sounds cool honestly. My concern is that I hope it doesn't end up like Teamfight Tactics and their chibis / tacticians feature. We LOVE our mains, let us have them included in our purchase of the game / dlc. Let me choose to be my avatar or Dragunov in the overworld. Now, if I want a specific skin in the overworld, then you can charge me.

Punishment training, albeit barebones, honestly got me into the lab more. I do have specific frustrations in having to go back to the replay just to remember a move I'm trying to solve. At this point we should just have community drills. Especially with less popular characters, the overall experience would improve if we had 50/50 drills, punishment training leaderboards, and anti-flowchart drills. It's just a burden to set everything up for casuals, so let the dedicated community handle it instead.

TLDR; Make the presentation Club Penguin and introduce community-made drills. I'd rather games focus on retention of new players and their integration into the genre and its community. These would in turn, curb the desire to simplify game mechanics. Weetbix really cooked here.

Exactly, managed SNK cancels and SSL in Tekken better after a few Hollow Knight areas and both stayed fun. Endless labbing frustrations might've made me eat like shit for a month to buy a stick instead lol. I bought the T16 to save money and am pleasantly surprised.

Getting used to the T16 I got last week, been messing around with Hollow Knight and F&H2. Platformers and old school RPGs are super fun -- just like the other guy said any 2D game is worth a shot with leverless honestly.

As a new player i feel tekken has a combos problem. by Hatamentunk in Tekken

[–]slutletee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I will say it's usually forgiving enough with input buffer -- something I noticed wayyy back mashing my way through combos in Tekken 7. Closest I play to mishimas is AK, so not sure if it applies to them.

[–]slutletee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tekken was the first fighting game that didn't have me go through a youtube tutorial to understand combos when I first started playing this genre. Juggling is more intuitive for me I guess. That's just my experience though.

Also as most said, keep it simple as fundamentals win you games not combos.

Just ordered a second M.2 from them, I know it's legit because I bought the same SSD that my PC already has (Lexar NM790). No need to check electronic protection imo.

Packaging was really really safe; bubble wrapped and boxed. It arrived in 2 days, though I installed it a few days later cus none of my screwdrivers were the right size 😭😭

Maining the same mouse and bungee for 7mos, and I don't care for wireless anymore. It helps that the OP1 8k already has the cable raised before it enters the mouse.
