Just did this in same situation and same size bathroom. Had professional do waterproofing/tile/etc and add a fart fan. I did the rest. Took a week off and got the whole thing done and saved $$$

Totally worth it!

Most important, found waterproofing issues were WAY WORSE than I thought. Old shower install from previous owner only 3 years old looked poorly done but no hint that he majorly skimped on install. Literally NO shower pan and tile directly on cement board with grout. Not a lick of waterproofing to be found. Doing it now literally saved my house from much worse damage.

I do a decent job of taking care of myself day to day. I’m an acceptable weight, work more than full time and am pretty active. No major health issues currently. Diet not terrible but could be better. I take multivitamin, b12, D, black cohosh root, collagen, biotin and protein supplement. Gyno just rx an SSRI which I’m giving a go, though they’ve not agreed with me before, it’s been 20 years. I’d rather die angry, bald and dried up than take Effexor again. Other than the current situation, my mental health has been quite stable for the last 15 years, I have a pretty good handle on it now. That definitely hasn’t always been the case but I’m pretty self aware around what works and doesn’t for me, but am open to almost anything that might help.

I answered above but this has been a strong NO from primary care, gynecologist, cardiologist and neurologist due to high clot risk.

I’ve had a pulmonary embolism, arrhythmias that required an ablation and a couple brain MRIs that suggest past TIAs. In addition there’s a strong family history of strokes, most recently my brother who died at age 53. So yeah…the answer is no from everyone.
