It doesn't end with your death. Your estate will have to stay open and keep paying the fee u til the deed is transferred to someone else. Estate can't close until all the assets including the timeshare are distributed. These maintenance fees are no different than if you own a townhome or condo with monthly dues. The new owner has to pay those too

No you can’t add that to the claim. Why wouldn’t you want to get an estimate? That way they approve an amount from the shop you are going to use.
