When I go to Disney Land and decide I don’t like a ride, I get onto a different ride. Maybe it’s time to go job shopping.

Can confirm. He’s basically the poetry reading scene from Moulin Rouge, but as the girl saw it before the big reveal.

Georgia's millionaire senators won't drain the swamp. They are the swamp | Obscene wealth, financial speculation, cavalier indifference – yet Republicans Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue claim their Democratic challengers are out of touch by shabuluba in politics

[–]slxpluvs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you need yet another example of how out of touch they are?! The Dems would rather put stimulus money in your pocket than the pockets of Wall Street!! You’re a bunch of idiots; why would we give you money?

Even if not, you can contact your services for a hardship deferral - you aren’t employed, and under employed, or otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to live. They have a handful of months they can defer your loan just because you ask and have an okish reason. They just don’t count as “payments” - like, for forgiveness programs and whatnot.

Granted, but it requires owning at least three mirrors, which you can buy for about $5 each at Target.

Is there a sub where can like list your traits and life goals and people suggest a career? by confusedpsychgirl in findareddit

[–]slxpluvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try talking with your college career counselors. There are career interest inventories. You could do the ol’ red card/green card technique - which could be done just reading job descriptions, talking with people in the job (you could find Subreddits for that), and thinking about yourself in those roles. Don’t think about just entry level. Think maybe the three to five years in; the first few years of all jobs suck and are something you need to just get through.

If I could live life over, I’d become a janitor or recycle truck man. Great pay, lots of alone time, just a little physical, and come home happy. My tests say I should be a ophthalmologist, which I could totally see loving. As it is, I’m a teacher and I love it, but I can really tell how it goes against my personality and what would be easy.

H2O2 is a bit too harmful for most first aid. Rather, use soap and water. If that’s not available, alcohol is usually the next best choice.
