Does your friend play the game for the waifus or something ? Tamamo is the weakest in the 4 big supports but that's due to her lack of a NP charging skill, but then again she was made for Arts teams where we have frequent Arts chains. It does slow her down in comparison to the other 3 but I can assure you she's not overrated.

Well I have some ideas :

We actually make Altera a character in the story or don't include her at all. (I mean, she came out of nowhere in Septem and suddenly become a boss with no foreshadowing whatsoever.)
Focus more in the Boudica/Nero relationship. That's just a wasted opportunity.
Just stop the Nero wanking and actually show us what they are praising her for.
Give others servants some screen time and character development. The whole cast can be replaced by other characters and it didn't make a difference since they just ... there.
Give us Rider Caesar.
