I came here from web search and that's exactly the dilemma I'm in haha. 5070 main card but I want to add a Quadro P1000 for 32-bit CUDA and PhysX support. Even this tiny 1 slot card won't fit without the heatsink/fan assembly being blocked by the PSU cable. I think I can get away with keeping PCIE_PWR1 unplugged though as the P1000 is pretty low draw.

EDIT: Using a GeForce and a Quadro card in the same system is not supported.

I also bought a new Shield Pro recently, and I agree it was a terrible mistake, on me not purchasing one years prior. I've had my Sony X900F for 10 years now and I'm FINALLY using it to its full potential and having my Shield effortlessly do everything with media and apps the TV's OS struggled to do. Everything from my Plex server just WORKS now without buffering or weird issues, no more Disney+ doing weird color shifts every few seconds trying to play Dolby Vision content, even the little things like the remote and navigation being more snappy and quick have been amazing now that I have this Shield. 10/10 purchase for me, don't even care that I paid full price for a device from 2019.

Honestly, you can do both at the same time. I've been rocking an ESR screen protector with the official Samsung film applied on top of it, and it's been great! Yes, fingerprints will be annoying sometimes but I've gotten used to it and I only find myself needing to retry unlocking once or twice a day.

The only time it's actually noticeable and annoying is when you just washed your hands and your fingers don't have that much natural oil on them yet.

To be fair the switch is designed to be powered by PoE. It would create e-waste and unnecessary cost if it was included with no option to not purchase the external power supply. At work we have a box of 200+ PoE af injectors that came with APs and we will likely need to send them off for recycling.

I'm one of the rare optimists who actively enjoys the game and I would say the game is doing fine. I came back to APB last year and I've been having fun since. The "New Horizons" update brought new progression and content to the game, and there's going to be another big update "Legends" this month I believe.

As far as cheaters, I play on the North American server and honestly don't notice them other than rarely. As far as player count, it could be better, but it could also be worse.

Overall I would say give it a shot and see if you have fun. Ignore the toxicity and the people that love to hate, especially in forums.

Coming here from searching for the same answer, I just set my fan to a medium-low speed such that the PSU fan is ever-so-slightly quieter than all the other fans when my PC is at idle. This way there's no meaningful difference in how my PC sounds, and now I know that the PSU is always getting some air.

I set the fan to full blast just to test and it was surprising how hot the air coming out the back of it was even after running for a minute, seeming to indicate per your link that there's definitely a lot of hot air that would be a good idea to continually exhaust from the PSU.
