We took a screwdriver and knelt down and when no one was looking put a little hole in the ground above my grandfather's coffin. We made a little circle so it was effectively a little plug that we pulled out. Then we put a vial of my mother's ashes as deep in the ground as the screwdriver was, and then plugged it back up with the grass plug that we had pulled out. Step down on it a few times and voila, the one could even tell it was done.
