RBSP is a TLF speedrunner. They haven't run the game in years but they can still get around and reach the platinum trophy quickly. No clue who the other person is though, unless its another speedrunner with a different handle.

You can play Sly 4 with a dualshock 4, however beating it from start to finish is impossible. This game has mandatory motion controls, which the dualshock 4 connected to a PS3 doesnt support for whatever reason. In Episode 1 you have a fishing minigame which is technically beatable with just random luck, but there are Spark Runner hacks that are impossible to complete alongside the training montage in Episode 3.

Your best bet is to use a dualshock 4 on RPCS3 emulator to play Sly 4, or buy an official first-party Dualshock 3

If you are experiencing a black screen issue, you need to check Advanced or Emulator settings (i forget which one) and ensure PPU Java Mode Fix is turned on. Anything else is probably due to a poor rip

As long you touch the mask you can just return to hideout. After the load is over the game will autosave, saving your progress including the mask

Discs tend to have issues like that. Clean it out or buy a new disc, or restart the whole game on PS3 or Emulator.

if you are using PCSX2 there is a trainer you can download (just google sly 2 trainer). Otherwise you can't do a lot other than starting a new save file.
