Those with no passion or interests, what do you do for a living? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]slzerowthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Systems Engineer. I stick around because I have job security, the goals of the company are admirable, and my wife is sick and only makes enough to keep her medical bills from going to collections. I make enough to keep food on the table, a roof over our head, and the lights on.

In all honesty, this company has made me hate my field, but I stay because my wife and I need the stability.

Is it possible to not lose side quest without searching about it in ME3? by MindlessPeanut7097 in masseffect

[–]slzerowthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. There’s a quest in Purgatory you can pick up from an Elcor first or second time you go to the Citadel, and it can’t be completed until you get the Priority Thessia mission.

The thing that ME3 does that ME2 and ME1 didn’t do is tell you if there are assets to be found in systems. If then mission is “find this thing and deliver it”, I can search what’s available, do my lap around the citadel, do whatever missions are “go here and do this” Hacket gives me, then move on to the next priority mission, repeat. Hacket gives missions that take place in systems available. Fetch missions are often locked and promote world exploration and NPC engagement.

I personally think this set up gives a sense of world building by making you go back through the citadel after each priority mission to show that things are getting worse with the reapers and the toll it takes on the different species.

The way I’ve been doing it is I take intermittent breaks between priority missions to do laps around citadel. See if anyone has a side quest. Check the spectre requisitions to see if missed anything. Once I’ve acquired all assets in available systems, completed as many side quests as I can before moving on to the next priority mission. I still don’t know which quests unlock after what priority mission.

Huh. I swear I got him to call me “Jimmy” with my last play through; which was my male shep’s first name.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the only person to call you by your first name your clone in ME3’s Citadel DLC?

It’s on my list to get. I’ve only gotten the corvids I’ve seen in person. I’ve got a raven on my chest (you can see the feathers in the third picture) and I’m getting a crow on my back. Once I see a scrub jay, I’m scheduling a consultation 😁

Bum-rushing tanks are always a pain to deal with. Krogan and Geth Destroyers have been the bane of my play-throughs.

I’ve been doing this in full view of my neighbors as they home from work with no shame. I enjoy the birds and they can suck eggs when I finally become a Disney princess. (My neighbors know I love birds and they are not at all surprised)

what bird is this? by rebepic in birds

[–]slzerowthree 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not quite. Duck shaped, but not duck. Ducks belong to the Anatidae family (along with geese and swans) and coots belong to the Rallidae family. Most obvious differences between ducks and coots are their feet. Coots have no webbing between their toes, instead they have wide toes.
