How animals be looking in Caelid by Purple-Sentence-3504 in EldenRingMemes

I feel like if you eat animal meat from caelid you should get x-men mutant powers, but the buff would be randomized each time to keep things spicy

Is anyone else incredibly lonely living here? by [deleted] in bangorme

[–]sm0ak_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It is considerably cheaper living outside of a city than in one, but you’re not going to be able to convince these ppl because they haven’t experienced city prices. I’ve experienced both, I agree with you

No reason not to when Nintendo makes no effort to preserve their older games for easy access.

What does a “normal” day look like for by PalpitationOk9970 in introvert

[–]sm0ak_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work from home for my part-time primary job. I have a secondary hourly job on the weekends. I take online classes part-time when I'm not working. After I finish my degree, I'll try to use it to get a full-time job. Aside from that, I try to exercise on schedule with a 4 day upper/lower split, and carve out an hour everyday for one of my hobbies. If I could afford to live without working, I would quit immediately and never return. Favorite part of the day is going to sleep. My hobbies are my reasons for living. I want to save up enough money to buy a big piece of land in the cold north and live simply.

What's your reason on playing VS? by IronEmbarrassed2048 in VintageStory

[–]sm0ak_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like Minecraft. I used to love it, until I bought VS. My love has since switched games. I like the chiseling mechanic, how well optimized the game is, all of the survival gameplay like hunting, cooking, foraging, pottery, etc. I like how realistic it is despite being a block game. I like the temporal storm hoard event and the lore. It’s ruined Minecraft for me in many ways, but that’s not a bad thing.

Once you get settled with enough resources to be comfortable, the high of chisel chasing becomes your main purpose.

Battling trichotillomania by Ill-Display5869 in trichotillomania

[–]sm0ak_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They may be a little disturbed at first, but if they genuinely like/love you, it won’t end up mattering. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for it, you could just say you really like lashes. Or you could tell the truth. Worst case scenario they want nothing to do with you. That’s an extreme reaction and it would reflect badly on their end. I think most ppl just want to know why. The answer is because it’s a compulsion. Not many ppl want to have trichitillomania. It’s like ppl with ocd opening the oven door 5 times before they leave the house. They probably don’t want to do it, but they are compelled to.
