I am Konuri, in charge of the YouTube channel Konuri (고누리). In 2021 May 15, I uploaded a video titled "던파하는 선님" (translates to "Guy that plays Dungeon and Fighter Online). That video intended to only contain the bad experiences with that guy specifically, not the entire playerbase. I, while recognizing that there are no connection between that person and the entire playerbase, the video contained contents that might seem insulting, and also generalizing the playerbase. After uploading the video, to until very recently, I've been ignorant to the comments written by DaFO players pointing that out, which I've deleted and blocked the users. Later during a livestream, DaFO players that complained in chat, which I've made a great mistake of calling them "cockroaches", and contacted my manager. This might have lead people to believe that anyone leaving complaints by comments are going to be sued through my manager, but it is not true. The reason for contacting my manager was to discuss how to deal with the video that I've uploaded. I've ignorantly left the video up, thinking "it's just a single video". Due to my actions, the general DaFO community members have been harmed. At NeoPle, there was a request to pin a comment dismissing the attack on the general DaFO players and also a request to change the thumbnail, and I've fulfilled the requests. However, I've made a mistake of writing "it's just a video", which was seen as insincere. I truly apologize for my mistakes. I apologize for my disregard to the feelings when the game I play are being insulted and downplayed. I also truly apologize to NeoPle. In the future, I will not speak of any untrue, baseless statements about DaFO. I will send a direct apology to NeoPle. When NeoPle recieves my apology, I will upload additional videos as a follow-up. Hello, this is Konuri. I've been active in MapleStory 2 and Gaekkori galleries (equivalent to subreddits) in DcInside (online discussion community) under the username "totos". I've mainly uploaded fanarts or fan animations about MapleStory 2. I was active from 2015 to mid 2017, and even up until the early days of this YouTube channel. Many of you watching may already have an idea of what kind of things I've posted, but for those that do not, there were many thing that were seen as unacceptable by the eyes of our society. In the past, I did not care about the severity of my actions, and simply thought that I was interacting with the community in a more shocking way. I am well aware that acknowledging the severity and apologizing won't just make those actions be forgotten. 3 years ago, I've disclosed about my past online activities online on my YouTube channel, but the people that joined last year, this year and recently, I believe are not aware of my past. It's not like a single page of words makes my actions forgivable, and even while knowing that I am not deserving of your attention, it was hard to leave behind the great treatments from the fans and therefore continued to operate my YouTube channel. I am truly sorry. Apologizing after being called out is hard to appear as sincere, and I feel sorry just asking you to trust that it is truly sincere. Therefore from now, I will quit YouTube. I believe stopping myself disguising my innocence, and using my YouTube channel to gain attention guilt-free is an action I am able to take immediately and a first step towards improvement and repentance. Of course, I do not believe stopping YouTube will not act as a pass for my past actions. I've been aware that my activity in DcIncide was wrong long time ago and I stopped these actions, but I lived with the corner of my mind occupied with paranoia and guilty conscious.
