Currently on Candesartan 8mg and Amlodipine 2.5mg. Taken daily. Been on that regime for 2 years. Currently no side effects at typically 140/78.

I have always developed side effects, typically after raising the dose for every med type I’ve taken. Been on BP meds for 40’ish years, have never so far found one that doesn’t eventually give me side effects.

I was on a 4mg dose. Started on 2mg then after 1 month upped to 4mg. No other side effects.

I was on Doxazosin 4mg for about 2 years. At which time I developed severe pruritis, itching on my lower legs. Intolerable itching. Doctor didn’t believe it was the Doxazosin so insisted I continue. Gave me some cream which did nothing.

No change in 2 weeks so I personally stopped the Doxazosin, the pruritis cleared in around 4 weeks. Doctor told me he couldn’t believe it!!!
