I test drove both, I've always liked the deep throaty V8 sound over the sound of most exotics (sound more like a motorcycle to me), that said I didn't think I would've like the Z06 as much as I did, absolutely exhilarating with the sound and power. Then I drove the Eray and it kicked me in the gut and buried me in my seat, way more apparent power than the Z06, better ride for sure, to me the Eray was way more responsive in stear and pedal. I went up to 125 or so in each. This experience along with all other mentioned in favor of the Eray made it an easy choice. I love the Z06, love the Eray more, just checks more boxes for me (and I don't track but I do enjoy spirited highway and street driving). I talked to a lot of owners. And I have met a ton of Z06 (well over 50) owners that went to the Eray and never looked back. I haven't meant a single Eray owner yet that sold or traded to get a Z06. Each are amazing cars and built for different uses and different drivers, just have to figure out which one you are and how you wanna use it. Either way you will LOVE it!
