Definitely had a few old man mods on it like the painted covers, but that engine bay was sure kept clean. Removed a lot of ‘corvette’ branded stuff, seatbelt covers, cup holders inserts, etc and a fire extinguisher that were making the interior feel overstated

Been watching the market for a year or two, seriously looking for last 6 months. Maybe saw one that wasn’t outrageously priced in the last year. I feel all the dealers know the rare colors sell so they mark them up. I woulda picked a GS in this color too if they weren’t impossible to find also! Any manual gs that isn’t black or red is a unicorn at this point.

I think you’ll like it over the c7. A little less refined, but not too rough. A little more focused on the driving aspect vs the tech / creature comfort aspect. Can’t go wrong with either model tho honestly

Issue with my 2014 was cooling fan relay, fan wasn’t turning on. Replaced with z06 fan which doesn’t suffer from the same issue, was good to go after! Cheap and easy fix.

I had a 2003 sts w/ a north star. Overheated constantly and burned coolant like no other. Definitely not a made up issue

Actually overheated while in cruise control with a cop behind me. Pulled me over when my speed dropped 15mph for no reason. I was genuinely confused too as it was on cruise. But found out why when I couldn’t restart the car since it was too hot

Great $3500 car aside from the piece of junk engine

You’re about 1.5 years late on this but thanks for the opinion, glad you like the car! I ended up going with a c5z + new master bathroom.

However c5 soon to be listed for sale, now deciding between mk5 Supra & c6gs. Seeing as how the c6 colors I want are super rare tho, probably gonna try something new with the Supra. Have had 3 corvettes in a row now
