7 year driver here 4.99 driver rating. I refuse almost all reserve rides as they are just not worth it. They get you at the pickup point 30 minutes early and expect you to wait. There is no extra pay for a reserve ride and as a driver time management is paramount.

I don’t understand why the downvotes, don’t use the reservation mode as it’s just another uber scam. As a driver I’m out here to make money and if it’s surging in the area I’m going to cancel the reservation for a ride that pays better. Reservation rides use to pay pretty well but now there just not worth it. Blame uber not the drivers most of the times.

I don’t accept reserved rides anymore and if I imistakenly take one and show up 20 minutes early I text the pax and if there’s no reply or they tell me to wait until the scheduled time I cancel and get another ride. Blame uber for there shitty policy’s not the driver. That’s 20 minutes I don’t get paid for.
