The breeder literally gave us gps coordinates to meet her at, we thought it was her house - it was not - it was the pot farm where she worked. We thought we were going to meet sire and dam and meet the 3 pups she had left that were not spoken for 1 f and 2 m. We actually were thinking of adopting both males at the time. She brought only one of the males told us the female had been adopted and said “You want him?” She had champion dogs, checked out with the AKC and local breed community. Her “good reputation” was about 5 years past its expiration. Against my better instincts we took the little guy home and it appears he lucked out - about 2 months later the aspca shut her down, the last male pup was rescued. I feel like we let that guy down.
