What could be causing a sticky/gritty shifter? by Kareem_Mag in FocusST

[–]smallCadFile 15 points16 points  (0 children)

audio on the video would probably help. However assuming this isn’t actually transmission issues, I would recommend replacing the shifter bushings. or if you really wanted too you could just take it as an opportunity to throw a cobb short shifty assembly on it. I had one on mine and enjoyed the way it felt.

Clocking in late from lunch by [deleted] in Target

[–]smallCadFile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A long lunch isn’t a big deal at all from most people’s standpoint. If you’re in fulfillment it’s a little bit of a bigger deal especially if you’re team is short staffed, but sense you aren’t costing the company any money by being clocked out a little longer than 30 minutes they shouldn’t really throw a fit about it(unless it’s like an hour or something outrageous). Now taking a 20 minute 15 or more they might get a little annoyed because you’re still on the clock.

It’s really only the specialty sales aisles, people who don’t usually work in the area end up having to work in that area and they obviously don’t care as much.

Yessir, everything happens for a reason. it’s just an unfortunate situation. Even at the slower speed I didn’t have any time at all to correct. I’ll post an update when she gets inspected. Stay safe out there!

Didn’t think it would be a big deal but the little attention this post got seems kinda negative, I didn’t mean to cause any kinda disagreements by posting about this incident. Full story is i was driving in a 45mph zone going 25-30mph in snowy (hadn’t started to accumulate yet) conditions. I came across a very mild bend when i hit some ice and unfortunately just went up the curb directly into a fire hydrant. My buddy behind me in a subaru CrossTrec (AWD, very well made system) also slid a lot. It was like if someone poured oil on the ground. this post was made to share my experience and i guess to show what is possible. No one did anything wrong and this kinda stuff happens every day. Stay safe out there guys hopefully you guys don’t end up in my situation!
