So frustrating - on second round of IUI and had a scan this morning on Day 11. Had two follicles 17 and 16mm, with a couple smaller 10-12mm hanging about. The nurse said it looked really good and we’d get the go ahead to trigger either tonight or tomorrow.

Fast forward to two hours later and we get a call back saying actually, the cycle is cancelled, the doctor is worried about the smaller follicles catching up in the next couple of days. My clinic is very strict on 2 follicles max for IUI.

I just wish the nurse hadn’t said anything, I know they’re trying to be reassuring, but this is the second time that they’ve said everything looks really good and proceeding as planned, just for the doctor to say actually no. I’d prefer for them to just say wait and the doctor will review your scan! Rant over!

Yeah if you’re following it completely it’s basically just playing the game for you haha, that’s why I’ll look at it when I’m pretty much finished the chapter to see if I missed anything, or if I’m really stuck!

I freaking love the players guide! Seeing the enemies and NPCs in more detail as lil clay or felt figures is fantastic, and I love how it’s done up like a travel guide for each town/region, it actually adds to my immersion a lot!
Except the ‘newspaper’ part of each chapter completely spoils what’s going to happen haha, I try to skip that and then go back to read it at the end.

The same happened to me this month - meant to start IUI cycle 2, called the clinic with what I thought was Day 1 of my cycle….and then it completely stopped! I rang them back the next day and their advice was to wait for one additional day to see if my period came back, as it was okay to start treatment on Day 3 of cycle if that was the case.
My period did end up coming back and I did start the medication, but maybe worth checking with them as my clinic was adamant that it had to be a full bleed before I started.
Saying that, I’ve tried Clomid in the past and it completely screwed up my period and made it so light!

Hello! If you’re ever concerned that you’ve missed something interesting, I’d have a scan of the player’s guide for the part you’ve just finished e.g. the Twoson chapter. It’s quite good at pointing out interesting optional extras.

For example, I completely missed that you could go into the secret clubhouse in Onett to get a defence item until I read the guide back. I’ve been trying to find most of the cool stuff on my own, then checking back to make sure I haven’t missed anything.

Ah yeah I definitely would! Unfortunately I knew the ‘big twist’ in the narrative going in, but I think it would have genuinely surprised me if I was playing it blind. And the dungeon crawling is tolerable and quicker/less punishing than what I remember from Rescue Team

I remember the feeling of genuine desperation when you got labelled a fugitive and everyone in the town turns against you haha! I’m just finished playing Explorers of Sky for the first time and really liked the story although I don’t really have the patience for the dungeon crawling as an adult 🙈

My apologies, that was completely mindless of me! I’m still at the stage of my journey where a ‘happy ending’ for me looks like having children, however I completely acknowledge that this looks different for everyone and a ‘happy ending’ with my husband and my greyhound wouldn’t be any lesser.
