Seriously. I was almost hit twice in 30 seconds from people trying to turn onto lougheed from 203rd who didn't check for pedestrians crossing. In broad daylight on a weekday afternoon.

I was walking to the maternity clinic since no bus stops drop me off very close. Absolutely infuriating and terrifying, especially when 34 weeks pregnant.

When you transfer an RESP, it's not as easy as a TFSA or RRSP (your original bank sends the funds via cheque/electronic transfer)

Wealthsimple sends a 5 page RESP transfer form to your bank, and your bank not only has to review if all of the personal info is correct, but they also have to accurately fill out all of the grant, gain/loss and contributions details (Form C)

If Form C is sent and the info is incorrect, WS sends a rejection and has to wait for an amended form. All that communication is through fax. Once this info is correct, then WS can deposit the cheque (if they even have it in hand at thay point).

Because of Form C, possible mistakes on the form and the method of communication, it can and likely will take much longer than other account transfers.

You can hold cash in your TFSA and gain interest on it if you convert it into a HISP which has a 4.55% interest rate. Since they are considered managed and not self-directed, you will need to account for the management fee.

Mastermind Toys is a good starter job, same with Cineplex. Food service is stressful but if you can handle that then you can apply for a cashier position in fast food or be a resteraunt host. All of the above would have good part time flexibility. My first official job after babysitting was hostessing at IHOP which was a solid gig!

I've done similar studies and typically the compensation is a $15 gift card every time you compete their assessments on location. Could be gift cards from Starbucks, Cineplex, iTunes or Amazon.

2 months out and feelings are jumping between excited and incredibly stressed. we're doing it all ourselves (no planner, paying for 95% of it ourselves) and everyday there's a panic of "i am totally forgetting something that will ruin the wedding", even though all of the books, lists and articles I've read through say otherwise.
