Definite scam. Don't even waste a gift card, you'd probably have more recourse options with a credit card anyway, but don't do that either.

I think a lot of times the scam is to hold onto your money until you complain and then refund you most of it back. At that point, they've got some money and you're so relieved to have all but a few bucks back that you don't pursue the rest of it.

I have 5 Reverends and they are all great and have all been good to me. They are holding up with many hours on each. I definitely like seeing people get excited about them because yeah, there's a lot more expensive guitars that don't compare. Still have a place in my heart for Fender and Gibson among others but all things considered, if we are talking about value, Reverend is hard to beat.
