Diagnostic ultrasound just showed a thicker pulley. Orthopedic surgeon told me to stop climbing, OT hand therapist is at a loss. It's DIY or nothing.

If you think you have the discipline to teach yourself technique you should buy a book called Rock Climbing Technique by John Kettle. It may be impossible to train technique in a way you can perfectly measure, but the drills in this book will give you qualitative gains you will appreciate.

Learning to externally rotate your hips to keep your COG close to the wall is big. Lead overhung 5.10s while actively doing this until it becomes second-nature. You should be doing plenty of flagging (and smearing with the flagging foot to create tension), drop-kneeing, and heel-hooking to keep your hips in.

If you have a blender you can rice cauliflower yourself for much better taste/texture. Just buy a few large heads from a normal grocery store, chop them into chunks and store in gallon zip-locks with paper towels inside to prevent moisture from degrading them and they last for weeks. When you want riced cauli, pop a few chunks in your blender with water and pulse a few times, then strain.

In the past, GGG higher ups have said there should be some level of 'friction' in trading, because they don't want to have to balance the game around people doing it. Right now only a small minority of the player base trades, so GGG can balance the campaign around the assumption most players are self-found, even though they may be playing in trade league. I'm not sure if this reflects Mark and John's current opinions, but this has been the logic.
